Aerial Work Platform Demo Tour – Tour Manager / Product Specialist



Responsibilities:

• Becoming an expert on the product and the brand.

• Educating end-users and sales reps about the product and demonstrating its capabilities through on-site demonstrations.

• Safely instruct consumers on product use as they test the equipment at activations.

• Scheduling all appointments for upcoming weeks (1-2 weeks in advance)

• Attending weekly appointments (Approx. 15 apts/week, scheduled Monday – Friday)

• Building relationships with complex rep networks in market to increase opportunities and sales potential.

• Informing reps of demo opportunities and utilizing their connections to schedule demos and work-withs.

• Attending trade shows and large events that may be out of market on an as needed basis.

• Creating sales opportunities and purchases through client approved retailers.

• Event set-up and break-down at all events as well as at key account visits.

• Constant travel in your assigned region and any other nationwide area that is essential to the success of the program.

• Submitting recaps, photos, and updates on a daily basis.

• Collecting data and leads during demonstrations and efficiently following up on these to solidify sales.

• Collecting quantitative and qualitative feedback on the product for use in R&D.

• Maintain daily communication and reporting with employer to ensure program effectiveness is being maximized.



Requirements:

• Must agree to and pass a background check

• Clean driving record & no criminal record are mandatory

• Willing and excited to be on the road 100% of the time for up to 10 months

• Extensive prior experience managing mobile marketing events & tours

• Ability to effectively utilize lead-lists and existing dealer relationships to fill and maintain your own appointment schedule.

• Background in outside sales/rep network familiarity a plus

• Experience with construction, power tools, and/or facility maintenance preferred

• Desire and work-ethic to meet specific sales goals

• Able to clearly communicate product benefits and applications in an authentic manner

• Outgoing, energetic and social with strength in public speaking

• Exceptional skills and operating knowledge of computers, cameras and technology (email and MS office applications)

• Able to complete necessary reporting and event documentation including recaps, photos and ROI

• Ability to handle last minute changes and accommodations with an optimistic attitude.

• Able to lift heavy objects on a daily basis (maximum of 75lbs)
